Z900 Master Cylinder Question

Grateful if someone could please confirm the type of master cylinder fitted to the Z900 - as far as I know, the UK spec had a clear plastic tall reservoir body for twin discs and the KZ's was shorter but was still clear.

Looking through FleaBay, other websites and google photos I notice that many Z900s have a black reservoir and some even have a metallic coloured body - looks purple to me?

Here's the question: is anything other than a clear reservoir fitted on a Z900 or KZ900 non-original?

USA spec master cylinders were solid anodised. This can fade and so look grey or even brown.
