#1 PostAuthor: bunnysZ » Sun Feb 05, 2017 11:27 am

Since moving my coils to the opposite way round and moving my rear indicators back a bit my rear light is not working, I have checked the wiring many times but cannot find any lose wires or connections and I have changed the bulb, brake light works but not the rear light... any suggestions please.

Its the red wire that feeds the tail lamp, via 5 way connector on top of rear muddy then on to ignition switch via the 4 way connector, where it picks live up from, get a multimeter set on dc volts and trace from ignition onwards,or a lamp with a couple of pieces of cable soldered on,or if you want go straight from the switched live on the ignition to the lamp,if that works you have bad connection of broken cable, the earth must me ok as you say brake. lamp works.Cheers Paul J

Hi bunny, I had the same problem, took bike for MOT rear light not working, replaced bulb no difference, I stripped out loom to see if there was a break but no, so checked wiring under side panel moved a wire and on it came, so check there.
