Hi, Can anyone suggest a good kit and where to get it from? not sure whether a kit with or without coils as well? Want to replace coils anyway...

I think Dyna coils are rather over sold and if fitted you MUST make a special bracket for them or they WILL crack and fail. It's not the easiest job in the world either.

Personally I just use original or cheap pattern coils and they work fine.

Dyna S is the bollocks and I can't recommend it highly enough. It's piss easy to fit. The only Achillies heel is that it uses the original mechanical advance/retard so if your springs are dog n ducked on that then you'll need to replace them. I always fit Dyna S to all my Zeds!

Do you have more info on this - my recently acquired z900 has Dyna coils and ignition and the coils are not on brackets...
Thanks

Used Dyna coils for a few years always just bolted them onto existing mounts,ensuring contacts dont come into contact with the frame,maybe lucky but havn,t had one crack yet..

Fitted mine like this......

Important thing is to insulate the mounting post, Insulation tape will do, heat shrink is better;
