Whilst cleaning up front left caliper I noticed something today.
Lower front left hose has the same union at both ends - with no locating lugs on either banjo end.
Lower front right hose has a locating lug on bottom union where it fits to caliper.
Have checked parts diagram and the two hoses are different part numbers and the one is shown with a lug.
Part codes 43095-0007 and 0008 refer.
I can't think why Kawa would have done this - surely both should have a lower lug or neither ???
Can it be to do with stopping the right one twisting too far inward as it gets tightened ???
I am struggling to see the rationale.
Could someone who knows brakes put me out of my misery.
. . . things were so simple back in the 70's models

Thanks
