Hi All,can anyone point me in the right direction for having some brake rotors skimmed or surface ground,pref West Mids or close..Ta

Not quite midlands but the best there is. Dont have them lathe skimmed cos they flex and youll never get them flat and they will shudder. Go ground. Had 2 discs done for £90.00.
perfect finish.

Coventry Boring make sure they surface grind as skimming will chatter

Coventry Boring surface ground 2 discs for me from a Z1B but used too coarse a cut and F**ked them.
They were ok at slow speed but chattered excessively when braking from speed.
Al Marshall tried to take the coarse finish out for me but it didn't cure the problem and the discs ended up very close to the service limit.
I have now got 2 NOS discs on the bike and the breaking is good and also no squeals.
