Restoring a H1A Triple

#1 PostAuthor: MikeP » Wed Sep 21, 2016 11:41 am

I had a KH250 2-stroke in my younger days and picked up a H1A a while ago which was a real shed. Now it's time to get it back on the road and whilst i strip the motor I wanted to know what colour paint is used and where? The tank and panels are going to be candy blue but what about the engine and cases, and is the frame satin or gloss black? What about the wheel hubs and other ali parts, are they polished or slightly dull (wire wool and scotchbrite)?
Sorry guys, loads of questions which I'm sure Rick Brett can probably answer off the top of his experienced head. But any help gratefully received
