Correct. But a 'genuine' UK one is much rarer and as such more expensive.

King

Now you can only read one at a time!

I have just picked up an original under seat silencer in its original packaging. The filter was completely shot but the outer case and inner metal perforated cylinder all in perfect order.

I'd love one of the books and it would be going to a good home.

I have been offered an owners manual but i am suspicious its a copy that has simply worn through use.

is there any distinguishing marks or ???? that i might tell the difference.

unless the bike itself has been restored with genuine parts i wouldn't worry & you will save yourself some money

I can't see how a modern repo one would be worn as such, unless it was deliberately 'aged'.

I've had both and seem to remember the repo was much glossier than the original.
