Engine oil advice please

Whats the general opinion on engine oil, its for a z1000 a2 1978, it only gets used in the summer and i was wondering if there was an advantage in using a 20w 50 semi synthetic, any thoughts greatfully accepted.

Many. It has more chance of staying inside, and does a great job of masking those niggling knocks and rattles!

I made the same enquiry at my local Morris Oils stockist, he phoned their technical guy and he recommended their V TWIN 20/50 semi for my Z1B
