Front fork identification

#1 PostAuthor: MartinB » Wed Jun 01, 2016 1:13 pm

I have an additional pair of front forks that have come as part of a package, with a barn find bike. They are complete with top yoke and axle. I've been told they're from a Z1R. Are they any different from other models and is there any way of identifying them?

The codes are K207R & K207L.
Any info would be welcome.

Code K207 is on Z1R and Z650 lowers
If they are Z1R there is no circlip securing the fork bush in.
If Z650 they have a circlip but the stanctions are shorter.

Thanks for the info.
Just checked, no circlip, so must be Z1R forks.
They've been fitted with new seals and in good nick.
If I don't find a use for them, I'll perhaps put them in the For Sale section.
