gpz1100b/z1100r/z1000j seat size

#1 PostAuthor: dragon95 » Mon Mar 28, 2016 10:40 am

Morning ! I think the seat size on those are all the same, Ive got s b2 , but the seat is a bit short, say about 2-3 cm , it slides back wards and forwards, its an aftermarket lawson style that was on the bike when i got it, its overall length is about 69cm, might this be off a 750 or have i got some sort of other issue with the fitting ?
Just waiting for my phone to charge and I'll upload a pic....
cheers

It is obviously too short if it moves back and forth
seat should be a tight fit with no backwards movement at all

Hi

All my 3 seats b2/ J / and aftermarket all measure the same as yours and your fittings look to be mounted correctly --- do you have a pic of it on the bike ?

regards
Mick

it's missing the springs that pull the rear locks plus you need the helmet lock to fix the rear mountings in place
