Z1R large petrol tank

#1 PostAuthor: Zephyr11 » Tue Dec 22, 2015 2:50 am

Do any of you happen to know whether a Z1R D3 20L tank is in fact a D1 20L tank but with different paint and pin striping? The reason I ask is because I would like to buy a 20L for my Z1-R D1 and have been offered a D3 tank. Will it fit straight on no issues? I did wonder about the position of the mounting cups on the tank and whether they would be in the correct position.

All thoughts and theories, and even definitive answers, welcome.
Cheers
