buy a set off an ltd and stick some decent silencers on, that would be a cheaper option for now. personally i just wouldnt want an unobtainable exhaust system on a bike that i ride, a simple drop from the stand would be priceless, what a head doer.

Probably the nearest I'm going to get.... Anyone know if they would fit onto my origional down pipes if I cut the old cans off (would the brackets be in the right place and would the creases accommodate the side stand etc.)
no chance z1r pipes are to fit to a collector box not down pipes take some major welding to seal.

Original A1/2 pipes are made of unobtanium - to give you an idea a NOS set sold a few months ago for £1700.![]()
A few people have gone down the Z1 4x4 route which while not original looks much better than some of the hideous Harris style 4-1's you see on some Thou's..
I couldn't disagree more. Back in the day a huge percentage of Zeddists ditched the ugly standard systems as they sounded crap.
I have Harris pipes on my nine and thou, through choice! Nothing sounds as nice as a Harris with a packed comp baffle. They look and sound lush

Zeds need nice open pipes to breathe
