Replacing Tacho Drive Z1000

#1 PostAuthor: Strebe » Sat Sep 19, 2015 7:26 pm

I had an oil leak from the tacho drive on my Z1000A.
Having replaced the oil seal and o-ring, I now can't get the drive pinion back into the head.
Is there some trick to getting it back in?

Thanks.
The difficulty is in getting the pinion in - even on its own, without the housing.
