Semi synthetic oil in z1b

I'm about to do my first oil/filter change on my KZ900A4. My three Suzukis (GS750B, GT250M, GN250J) all seem to run very happily on good old Halfords 10w40 mineral oil, changed regularly at 1500 mile intervals. Any advice on putting this oil into the 900 - a good or bad idea? Is there actually a recommended oil for the kz900?

Motorcycle Mineral oil SAE 10W-40, 20W-50.
Ensure it is - Motorcycle oil for use with a wet clutch.

thanks Adrian - will be looking closely for the 'wet clutch' ref. Have also read on here in some old posts about Castrol Actevo 10W-40 semi-synth, the adverts for which state that its motorcycle/JASO/wet clutch compliant. Anybody currently using this in their Z1A/B/A4's? (always thought semi-synths were to be avoided with pre-1980 bikes ...
