Fitting Z1-R Silencer Connector Gasket - Any Tips Please ??

Hi Guys,

Thought I should ask before I launch into it -

Cos the factory gaskets are like £25 plus each !!!!!

Do people get best results by -

a) Slide gasket over collector box outlet first - then add the silencer - this way the silencer will push the gasket in the right direction and you can see if it is getting displaced (and correct it).
or
b) Insert the gasket into the silencer opening and slide the pair onto the collector box outlet - I can imagine the seal getting pushed too far up the silencer if I do it this way - and impossible to re-position without silencer removal.
or
c) some other clever technique I can't work out

Please let me have any tips or avoids before I get to it - hopefully next week when my collector box seal and clamp bolt are sorted.
