Unitrak Throttle Body Rubbers

#1 PostAuthor: LTD Project » Thu May 14, 2015 8:20 am

GPz1100 A2 Unitrak - Fuel Injection Hardware

Holy $@!* There are some things that have tried my patience and my ingenuity through this engine rebuild but trying to get the air stacks from the airbox onto the rear of the throttle bodies is doing my head in big time!

Any done this recently? Is there a technique, running order of approach, black magic chants? There must be a way. GB, do you recall how you did it?

I have tried soaking the stacks in hot water to soften them but….. you get one in the right place and then putting the next one on only pulls the first out of position.

Heeeelllllpppppppppppp Pleeeassse?

From memory, a hot air gun.

But yes, a bastard of a job & that was probably 5 years ago. Are new ones available :?

Can't find new ones and zpower say they are no longer available...

Out with the hairdryer....

I just wondered if there was a "do this before you do that" technique?

Got one out of 4 done at the moment.
