Z1-R Bar Switch Wiring Question Please ? ?

#1 PostAuthor: pertonpc » Sun Feb 22, 2015 8:10 pm

There is a mass of bullet connectors under the gas tank that link up the main harness to the two sets of handlebar switch wiring that comes down inside the bars from each side.

All the wires are colour coded and that is straight forward to reconnect.

Apart from -

Each bar switch has a brown wire going to it - and there are 2 brown wires on the main harness.

Can I assume it does not matter which goes to which as they are all the same colour ??

If it does matter and I have got it wrong what symptom will it cause so I know ??

If it does not matter why don't they just put one double bullet on the brown wire in main harness - to save confusing numpties like me

Thanks in advance for your patience. From Mark

Thanks very much for that.

Thought I had better check in case I was missing something.

Cheers.
