Handlebar height

#1 PostAuthor: Richard Q » Sat Feb 14, 2015 4:12 pm

Are my handlebars the correct height?

Just asking as I have bought a cable set for the standard handlebars and the throttle cables and clutch cable are all too long. About 4" too long :??

Cheers

Richard

There are 2 different cable lengths available depending on which height handlebars are fitted and it looks like you have the low handle bars which require the short cables and sounds like your new cables are the long ones,

They are not always listed as being different.

Too low for a standard UK bike, you need to change them shocks as well they don't look all that comfy. :D

I agree, bars are too low.

Shocks look "wrong" for some reason. I don't know why, but they just do!!
