nothing on the emulsion tube itself but has 256 0-4 on top needle jet. Stamping on needle itself is to small for me to read :lol:
The guys at NRP were ok just couldnt get through to allens that if there is no such carb as a vm28 why does kawasaki list them in their specs and manuals for the z1r, z1000mk2 and the st. He just kept telling me that mikuni only made 26mm, 29mm and 33mm vm carbs. I politely thanked him and put the phone down totally bewildered

I think i have a set , i will check tomorrow and let you know....... they are off a standard Z1000 A1

0-4 needle jet is not used on the z1000a but is from z1r d3 & z1000e1/e2 shaft usa models

Bang on with specs. The actual carbs came with a Z1R D3 I purchased a few years back. Sold off the rs34 flatsides that was on the bike when purchased and going back to standard set up. Should have said z1r in original post instead of z1000.
Guys at NRP said as long as the combined area of the holes are the same then it wont matter how many rows of holes they have. Opens up a few more options.
