#1 PostAuthor: malmojoe » Thu Aug 21, 2014 5:15 pm

looked at this bike today but it wouldn't start. There was a terrible noise comming from inside the starter/rotor cover. Any ideas what I could expect when I get the bike and take it appart?

here is a video of the noise

thanks for any help.

Hope not :!:

My bestest Z1000 had same problem. Was rattling for months when I first got it.... thought it was cam chain???? Was the rotor/starter loosened. Luckily no real damage as crank end can get chewed up
And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

Had the same problem , sustained high speed and vibration mmmmm, tried a few mobs to get a new rotor , Electrex , wemoto , couple in US , Schrems took my money but didn't deliver and wont respond. I ended up with a 2nd hand rotor.Charging issue at the moment.......
