If you are painting, try Fiat Swift Red - that's what I used on one set. The other set I had powder coated :)
Why do I persist in debating with idiots ? I really should know better :)

Be aware the air reservoir caps can be corroded into the housing, if you want to borrow a special tap to chase the threads in the housing, let me know I have one you can borrow.

Charlie and I have both had to destroy the screw in tops to service and then salvage a cap from another set of worn out housings.

You do find some that come out easy as well.

I still have a few bits from the many shocks I bought to strip and cannibalise. I dunno if I have any reservoir caps left, but if you get stuck for anything, give me a shout and I'll check if I have anything in the shed :)

Seal kits were on a 4 week waiting list from Marzocchi last time I looked, strip yours first to be sure you CAN actually get them apart without damage before committing to a seal kit that could turn out to be no good to you ;)

Use a good quality suspension oil when you rebuild. I used Motorex in mine but if you cannot get that, use Motul - they are the best shock oil manufacturers bar none. Silkolene,Putoline,Rock etc - all go to a milky piss in next to no time.
