Z1R SidePanel

#1 PostAuthor: Kev1R » Sun Oct 26, 2014 5:10 pm

I have put this in 'Bike Help' rather than 'Wanted' as it is advice I need.

I need a new Left Side Panel for Z1R

I know we can get replicas through the club but I have seen some adverse comments about the quality.
Does anyone have any experience of particularly the Z1R panels which I understand come from a Company called lpm?

If these are below par, I may be asking if anyone has an Original Kawasaki one they want to part with. Condition of the paint is not important as it will be resprayed - I don't need the badge - but the lugs would need to be present & in good nick. I know there may be one or two on Ebay so I might end up looking there.

Thanks for any advice!

Kev, I've got some lpm panels and although under inspection they are obviously not the originals, the quality IMO is very good.
if you would like to compare lpm against original, give me a shout as I've got spares

Apparently they can be quite easily made out of ply wood.

This is due to there fairly straight forward shape and flatness.

James ...your wit may "know no bounds", however your perception of "flat" is pretty suspect !.....Kev LPM stuff is of excellent quality so you will have no problems with it
