LED Stop / Tail light

#1 PostAuthor: Z1Boy » Sun Oct 26, 2014 8:13 pm

Has anyone fitted a LED stop tail light bulb to a bike with a brake light failure warning light in the clocks? Not sure if the LED bulb would fool the box into thinking the bulb has blown??
If at first you don't succeed, try and try again. Then quit. There's no point in being a damn fool about it.

I put LEDs in the clocks and it affected the circuit.....had to put a resistor in to fool it.....the company who supplied the LEDs gave me the resistor and a diagram where to put it.

Which bulb are you going to use?

Tried one and thought they were crap!
If you're not directly behind the bike then the light from the LED buld isn't that good at all!
You're best off with a quality (Hella) standard tungsten bulb IMO.
