Leaking tachometer drive

#1 PostAuthor: scott » Sat Oct 04, 2014 11:34 am

I have a leak from my tachometer drive. I've replaced the unit with Zpower billet one, which comes with two orings and the oil seal....so why does it still weep?....looks like it's coming from the oil seal and not the orings due to the oil being on the cable and not running down the head. Could the shaft be worn to cause this?

I replaced the shaft and now no more leak. I suspected the shaft because I've gone through too many oil seals
