Some of the bolts used in cars have to be high tensile, stainless ones will NOT do at all. Not sure if there are any HT bolts on the Z1 though :??

I have the mushroom head type on my gpz the chamfered type if nothing moves(Anaerobic) mine are polished titainium but the hex head on stuff from before, rezincing, does hydrogen embrittlment apply? apologies if not spelt right! do these stresses apply? Get new ones, or depress yourself and do a shear test, BMW have used a fancy mechanical plating process on some of the fasteners my F800GS, 5 years old never been wet or used in winter, rust is peeping through! Nothings made like it used to be is it?
