what would be a good material for LH switch contact boards?

I have to make the semi-circular contact board inside the LH switch, any thoughts on a suitable material that can be worked and easily found?
What about fibre glass or carbon fibre?

I have just had an idea. I've got loads of CDs hanging around and they have all the properties I need. I am going to use 2 CDs and some small copper nails. My idea is to clamp them together, mark and drill the teminal positions with a drill the size of the nail shank. I can slip them onto a dowel and use a compass in the dowel centre to mark out.
Then seperate them and re-drill the holes in one CD to the size of the nail heads so when I glue the CDs together the nail heads are sunk flush into the face of the teminal board, but wont slip through. Then shape it to suit and solder the cables onto the cut off nail shanks on the rear.
Sounds do-able. I'll post the results.

yes I would do that if it were only one, but I need 5 switches so it's not a cost effective solution. In any case the repro switches are US style and although the do have the extra holes for the 'flash' connectors as on the EU bikes, I would still have to add those terminals and wire them in, so I may as well make my own for a few pence.
