Ramair filter 'cut n shut'

#1 PostAuthor: mike_p » Sat May 31, 2014 9:12 am

Anyone done a 'cut n shut' on a ramair foam filter ? Just wondering what glue to use as I'm thinking superglue might just melt the foam.....anyone done this successfully ? I'm struggling for space and the standard filters just don't come short enough :?:

Off the top of my head, I would suggest something like
Araldite, the resin based sort of stuff. See what the other guys advise...

Cheers folks.....I used Araldite and it worked a treat. Problem was its a side draught carb and the inlet is very tight to the frame. You can see it clearly from the outside of the bike and it looked shi* with the filter all squashed up.....Looks ferking great now though :D
