I've seen zrx seats modified for old zeds.
Also, here is yet another ST with a mk2 seat, worth asking the bloke what the score is?

I can't see people buying mk2 covers for ST's. What's the point? I am aware of most of the differences between the 2 bikes.

Dont quote me but i think the main difference is the hinges would need to be moved ,also there is a tang that needs lopping off at the front but thats no bother ,the concern i have is that st tailpieces have a cut in for the seat at the sides ,so i'm not sure .
the good news is i have found an old H seat pan,it may need welding in places but at least you will know what they are supposed to look like.

ST and MK2 tail pieces are identical except for the cutout that follows the shape of the seat like Ollie says. It's more of an indent of a couple of mm. It's out of view when the seat is fitted anyway and I don't think would cause a problem to use it. I have both in the garage and can take pics if required.
