the reason the picture is no longer on the old thread is because i removed it from my photo bucket after i downloaded it. that way it just shows up as a blank photo bucket box on the thread. i agree with the guys here, getting your discs drilled would be the cheapest and probably easiest way forward. Rodders, your wheels are worth more that the z900a4 wheels, you could swap back to the correct 4 bolt a4 wheel and have cash to spare

we drilled hundreds in the mid to late 70s some customers wanted them done from new. we had a pillar drill & mounted a thick steel plate with a wheel spindle welded & mounted vertically. we had a couple of different kawasaki front hub's for different size discs. we would bolt the disc to the correct hub & drop it onto the spindle. there was a 6mm dome headed screw fixed to the metal plate which would locate in the spoke holes in the hub you would drill the first hole & then move the hub round into the next spoke hole & so on until you have gone all the way round the disc. you would then re position the disc & start drilling your second & third series of holes

I may have the chance to buy a pair of Z1R wheels off my old A4, coz the guy that bought it put spokys back on it but would have to get some discs as the ones on it when I sold it were warped

you would get a good price for the 6 hole wheel set because they are rarer. im not sure whether the z1r wheels are the same as a4 ones, i think some z1r's had 18 inch front and back with an option of the 19 front. may be worth putting a fresh question up about it as some will think this is being dealt with here Rodders

Early Z1R`s had 18 inch wheels, the later Z1R D2 or Mark II engine Z1R had a 19 inch front wheel.
