Installing Carbs

Hi is there are proven method to install the carbs between the hose connections?
Just purchased a 1976 UK Z900 A4 for renovation. Wish me luck.

warm the air box rubbers with a heat gun & spray a little wd 40 on the rubbers & they will go on easily
