Clutch basket....

#1 PostAuthor: gordon62 » Fri Apr 11, 2014 9:35 am

Hi ALL,
Just been checking all my bits for the engine rebuild, and looked at the clutch basket, and checked the springs in the basket it self, should they be tight or loose? I dont know, 1 or 2 have a little movement, it this ok, or should I have the springs replace..the clutch worked fine and did"nt make any rattles to speak of when running..

Just checked them, they are fairly hard to turn, 1 or 2 can move side to side, but not easy to turn, so maybe they be ok..
curious how much would it cost to have done :?:
