So in my job I come across small plant equipment, I have been gleefully fitting new carbs to 13/11/9/6 HP small plant motors, which come in, starting great on choke(sometimes) running for vary amounts of seconds ok then cutting out! Answer fit new carb don't fook about send it back running with a bill, ok so what's this got to do with our Kwacks well, how many of us are having carbs cleaned? To restore correct running? How many of you know of petrol tanks going rusty leaking from seams, pipes splitting and stuff going brittle? Would you dream of putting today's so called greener 95 octane in a H or B11/ A Uni,if the answer is yes then you have my sympathies coz if you don't use it for six months usually less!!! It will bugger things. All my stuff now runs on VPlus from the local Shell garage so far no problems but the run of the mill stuff is absolutely shite so let me get this one in before I get a knock on the door from the men in white coats! What about the sale of goods act? Why do we have to pay more for the privilege of being able to pursue the joy of motorcycling? By running on a higher octane they're gleefully taking more out of our pockets for the same thing, I love big old air cooled Kwackas and yes they were designed to run on UNLEADED, NOT TODAY'S SORRY EXCUSE FOR FUEL.
