push/pull

#1 PostAuthor: sweptail » Thu Mar 13, 2014 12:35 pm

My new throttle cable arrived tday; problem is its a PUSH cable, but was advertised as a PULL. Will it be ok to fit as a pull or are the cables different?

They are different, its the chrome elbows, one is smaller than the other so you can screw them in without clashing.

Back in the day I used to use the push cable as a spare if the pull one snapped.
I never noticed any adverse effects, but then again im not fussy.

Only a guess, but if you got it from Wemoto, let them know and they'll send you the correct one out immediately.

Personally I use Wemoto for as much as I can because they never take money for something they haven't got stock of, they are extremely quick at delivering, everything priced sensibly and they have a huge stock of parts. Plus they are all into bikes themselves..... I can't praise them highly enough! :up
