Could anyone tell me if there should be a copper tube on the reserve of a unitrak fuel tap ? the 2 taps i have have just one copper pipe on the main fuel outlet and then nothing on the reserve outlet ?
I would assume that the reserve hole should have a small copper tube on it ,so that it does not get blocked up so easily ??

If it makes any difference i am running carb`s (no fuel pump) and have a inline washable glass filter ...

Mine doesn't have one either, I think the standard fuel filter was big enough to cope with most lumps that found their way in to the tank.

That is what i thought , so i think i will put a small length of copper tube in the reserve hole ,only about 30 mm long ,and then that way if shit builds up in the tap area the bike should still run o.k ?
cheers for your replies ....Andy ...
