No absolutely no progress, i have lost my nerve with it now and have arranged to take it to an engineering shop next weekend...
Help and motivation always required......

Okay, rotor is now off crank, no damage to either.
Eventually took it Ian Myers Engine Reconditioning on the A59 outside York. Nice guy.
Got the special tool of and then just used a pretty standard 18 mm bolt and it popped off now props.
Apparently the tool was the wrong shape where it was pressing against the end of the crank. He showed me and it all seemed to make sense.
So almost at the point of reassembly. Yeehaa!
