#1 PostAuthor: PETER KZ1A » Fri Jan 24, 2014 1:09 pm

Hi all
Just received new ignition switch from Enterprises.Switch is good , however ignition switch holder Kawasaki part # 27019-003 not happening.
Length is 21.5, seems too short by approx 16mm
I bought one of these years ago, all good.Cross referenced,Enterprises only sell 1 switch(40-80600)
Any clues chaps
Thanks

it is the correct part they are quite tricky to install its just a matter of working out the correct location for the holder . i cannot remember how i fitted it but i thought the same as you

i think you assemble the holder on to the switch & the push the switch through the clock mounting bracket from underneath ?

Thanks z1bman
we spent a while on the switch .The "holder" goes over the switch ,that goes into the gauge mount, then the cover goes over the switch. The plastic nut screws onto the switch, securing the whole lot. However this leaves the switch too deep.......
faaaakkk
Then we got on the sauce
