Frankly I haven't attempted that yet as I'm sure it will not come off. At the moment I have a working tap. Albeit with a broken lever. If I attempt to take off the existing sleeve it will probably rip. Also the holes on the new lever aren't in exactly the same spots. (Near but not exact) as I wrote above, best course for me is to find used tap and swop levers.

Having said all that, just found out that Doremi do a new one for $38. + shipping so if delivery isn't too much, that's my solution.

Be aware of the Doremi taps they are notoriously prone to leaking.
I think they may even have stopped making them as I was informed by Phil at Zpower. They have had them on back order for months.

They're showing 2 in stock. Do you think they're 'old stock' that are leakers?

Thanks anyway. :)

A1john's sold me a spare tap so hopefully problem solved.

Thanks for all the suggestions and tips guys. The smell of petrol in the house will be a thing of the past.
