I have now fitted the engine back into the frame, there are no electrics on the bike yet,I have filled the engine with oil and have been cranking the engine over with a battery and jump leads on the starter for approx 3 mins, the oil level is dropping in the window so it appears oil is being circulated.
I have taken the hoses off at the oil cooler and there is no oil at either end, supposing there is no blockage is it going to take a while for oil to get up there?Which hose is the feed to the cooler?Any other thoughts?
thanks

Is there oil coming from the gallery at rear base of barrels if you remove the hex headed plug?
If not then there is a problem with the oil filter assembly or the bypass / pressure relief valve in the oil filter centre bolt.
If there is oil there,. then a blockage or malfunction with the cooler take off or the oil pipes / cooler itself.
After complete strip and dry build i have run mine round the garden in second gear, plugs out, for maybe a minute and that is adequate to get oil pressure to the top end.
Have you got the thin shim on top of the spring and immediately below the oil filter?
Oil level going down in the window means nothing because it it just being stirred up!
Have you had the cases or other parts blasted?

I have taken the oil pressure switch out and when cranking the engine can see oil rising up the vertical gallery, but it is not rising high enough to reach the top and thus there is no oil getting to the horizontal gallery at the back of the barrels and the oil cooler, I am assuming this is the route the oil takes to the top end?
just dropped the oil and filter and the washer that sits on the spring under the filter is missing, could this be causing the problem?
I have ordered a new spring and washer from Zpower

Was going to be Tuesday to get the new washer and spring so decided to make a washer, fitted a new filter and the washer, refilled with oil and I now have oil flowing thru the galleries to the oil pressure switch and up thru the cooler
