ive got the same on my bike.Just taken head off & looks like exhaust valve guide needs replacing
keep thoses wheels turning

Valve guides are good. New seals fitted etc'.
I'm feeling confident it needs to be re-bored. It's the only thing i haven't done on the bike. The previous owner put the barrels/pistons together. What are my options, without spending a fortune on Kawasaki pistons?

I usually buy Wisecos from the states, even with Import duty/ VAT usually works out cheaper than buying them over here.

If you fit Wisecos make sure you weigh each piston. Mine were well out and we had to grind some off to get them all the same.
Never heard of a Harris Magnum
