Z900 A4 Carbs

Hi All, i am just putting back together an A4 Z900, i have 2 sets of carbs but not sure which is correct. 1st set has 2 feeds for fuel and what seems to be a link pipe between the carbs, flexible fuel pipe. This pipe sits between 1&2 and 3&4. Cable link sits at top of carbs. Throttle stop above carbs.

The other set of carbs have 1 feed for fuel and what seem to be 2 breather pipes. Cable link differs from 1st set with 1 cable link further down between the carbs. Throttle stop is underneath.

I think both are 26mm carbs and look identical apart from bits above.

the first set you describe matches the carbs on my A4.

others sound like Z1000 carbs

Someone will no doubt put me right but here is what I think..... Single feed is Z900 Z1/A/B. Z900A4 is twin feed as per Z1000A1/2.

All Z1s / Z900s / Z1000A1s and early Z1000A2s have 2 petrol feed pipes. Later Z1000A2s and all Z1000MK2s have a Vacuum fuel tap and single petrol feed pipe of bigger bore.

I have a late z1000A2(a) and that is twin?!

Maybe only some A2s have Vacuum and not later ? ? ? ? ? ?
