mikuni rs36

#1 PostAuthor: jovin04 » Sun Jul 28, 2013 1:41 pm

Hi I have a set of Mikuni RS36 Flatslide carbs on my gpz1100 motor. It has been striped down after 300 miles with new Wiseco pistons etc it appears the bores have been washed out with fuel. Can anyone give any recommendation's for the carb settings.
I am currently using a 130 main jet in may be washing out on the pilot??

Many Thanks

And on the 7th day... Zeds were created!

The floats should be around 17 mm. I had loads of probs with flooding and have been told the valve and seats could have been mismatched as there are two sizes. 130s are about right I had mine dyno'd so will check the needles etc for you.
