Does any one know what are the differences between a Uk and UsSseat other than the strap, can you just fit a strap to a US seat.

You can fit a strap, but the US seat doesn't have the nut welded in place where the strap screws on. You'll need to either weld a nut on (lot of work) or just drill a hole put a nut on the end of the screw. If you use a square nut on the back and touch it up in Black....who's going to know?
