Decent engine specialist / Scotland West Coast preferably

#1 PostAuthor: JohnC » Fri Jun 07, 2013 1:57 pm

Having now completely given up trying to diagnose my Z1000A1's failure to fire on all four cylinders http://www.z1ownersclub.co.uk/forum/vie ... hp?t=25807 I've decided I need the help of someone who actually knows what they are doing, unlike me!! :)

I'd really like to send the bike to Debben Performance as they've done a fair bit of work for me in the past and I'd really trust them to get my bike back up to speed without giving me any grief or spin.

The only problem is that it's going to cost me £300 to get the bike down there (and back of course) before a nut is even turned :(

I've trawled Google and absolutely nothing comes up for Scotland regarding anyone I'd trust to diagnose, tear down and rebuild my bike with any degree of confidence.

Hi John
If you need someone to have a look at it I will do that with you.

You can bring it to my workplace in Glasgow or I can come see you.

I would probably recommend a specialist for major engine work but to be honest the Zed series are pretty easy to work on.
