Was going to have my gpz without indicators like my old gs, now told that MOT's require them unless i go for a daytime only

Cause i want to inset my rear light and dont have the original bracket, wheres best to place the rear indicators? only want to fit tiny ones

I think MOT regs only require them to be fitted to bikes from 1985 onwards.

My Z1000 passed a couple of months back with no indicators fitted.

I think if there is a switch fitted it has to work, however if you remove the switch/button then it should pass.

Just had my Z tested last week and was talking to the tester about my Yam YR5 which has an indicator problem. He suggested taking them off then it would be ok for the mot.

Not required for a pre-1985 bike, refer your tester to his manual, (they like it when you do that  )
