I think this part is the same for the Z900A4 and Z1000A1/A2, but is the one fitted to the Z1's different?? I had one on a couple of Z1B's and recollection is it was pretty similar?

Dave.
You are correct in that Z9 and Thou' are the same.
Bedlow had a Thou one on his Z1B which fitted but of course had the holes for the reflector mount.

(I'm pretty sure it was a later guard but perhaps Bedlow could confirm).

They are pretty similar except for bracket with reflector on Z900 / Z1000 and not on Z1s.

THANKS GUYS, THIS SEEMS TO CONFIRM THE POSITION, AND PRETTY SURE MY Z1B HAD A REFLECTOR FITTED, SO MUST HAVE BEEN A Z900/Z1000 GUARD
