swingarm widths

is there a difference in width of swingarms,i have a z1r frame,a z1000 swingarm,but its about two mill to wide to go in frame.does the z1r frame have narrower arms. :?:

have both types Brent 229mm make sure the bearings are full home ..obvious but vital :D

Loosen the rear engine mounts. You can (depending on your physical disposition) quite easily over tighten them and then the swingarm pivot is too narrow.

Says a bit about the rigidity of the Zed-frame though... :roll:

The engine bolts arnt in. :(
