Will a GPZ750 motor fit into a z650 frame?

#1 PostAuthor: coldsummer » Wed Feb 20, 2013 10:49 pm

As per title, does anyone know if the GPZ750 R1 (earliest one) fit into a Z650 frame?

If the answer is yes, would the std 650 carbs be compatible dimension wise?

Cheers for any answers.

All 750 motors are based on the 650, even the Zephyrs .
Carb spacing is the same.
Much like the 900/1000/1100 development they didn't change much so most engine parts are interchangable.
