depending on how competent you feel , there is an article somewhere on this site all about doing your own rebuild - can't remember where tho'
i know Iain marshall did an engine rebuild for Davy in Derry's Z1 desert rat a few years ago

Hi,
Cannot help with someone in the Northwest, but a mate of mine undertakes work for people and would be happy to rebuild and engine for you.
I could do it but it would take a longer whereas Rob has more time free and could turn it around for you fairly quickly.

PM me if you want his details he is based in Tamworth just of j10 m42.

Speak to Tony at Pitstop Motorcycles in Leigh, or if you want to pay the price Steve Smethurst of Eccles. Tony is very good deals with the 'older' bikes all the time.

+1 Good set of lads there, they do a lot of work for Zpower when Dave Marsdons building his specials - engine / fabrication work. Worth a call

If you don't mind a quick trip Martin (prowlerZ1) is in Hull and is one of the best in the club. Not expensive and only replaces what needs doing.

One of the few guys I would trust with my engines.
