Steering Damper Brackets

#1 PostAuthor: JohnC » Wed Jan 30, 2013 9:34 am

Someone asked me for some photos of a steering damper bracket I bought off someone from the club, sorry I can't find/remember who it was...... but months later here they are :))

Plenty of lock available as well.

Should it not attach where that reflector is?

Those adapter brackets come up from time to time on Ebay from MPL Germany (none on at the moment tho) pot luck what you can pay for them - think mine was a tenner posted.

I used the original lug as well as the new bracket, by cobbling a piece of ally to suit - purely to make a steering damper that i was given fit.

That's where I used to mount it, but the reflector bracket started to crack.

There is no way this alloy mount is going to move or break. :)
