exhaust collets

Can somebody tell me the dimensions of z1000a and z1000j collets as i have a set to sell but not sure what model they fit cheers Dave

So you are really just after the Outside diameter of a z1000A exhaust pipe at the manifold and compare it with J motor exhaust pipe.

Now as i understand it, the Z1000A2 has the same Od as a Z900. So,I will be able to give you this tomorrow..... Someone else with a J motor can give you the OD of the J.

My guess, the J will be slightly bigger! But, maybe the same!

They different lengths. The J type are shorter, to fit the Kerker pipe`s to my J and septic i had to use the longer early 900 1000 type of collets. The Kerker was meant for an A1 the other an A4 :wink:

Taking notice of both Z1bman & Mr Puffin posts, the length of the earlier Z1, Z900 & z1000 is 28mm overall.
Hopes this gives a definitive decision. I guess the later Z1000J will be smaller.
